 | Plugins | | | The OpendTect functionality can be extended with plugins. A number of free and commercial plugins can be downloaded from the OpendTect download center. Free plugins will run without license manager restrictions and may or may not be delivered with source code. Commercial plugins require a license key to run. Any developer who believes (s)he has developed a plugin that is worth sharing (free or commercially) with the OpendTect user community is requested to contact

to find out how plugins can be published on the download center. | dGB Earth Sciences Plugins | | | SSIS The SSIS plugin (Sequence Stratigraphic Interpretation System) enables a full sequence stratigraphic analysis, including the auto-detection of chronostratigraphic events, automated Wheeler transforms, full systems tracts interpretations and annotations. | | | Dip-steering The dip-steering plugin allows you to create and use "steering cubes". A steering cube contains at every sample position the local dip and azimuth of the seismic events. | | | Neural networks The Neural network plugin supports supervised and unsupervised neural networks to combine multiple attributes into "meta-attributes". TheChimneyCube® and TheFaultCube® can be made with this plugin. | | | Common Contour Binning CCB is used to detect subtle hydrocarbon-related seismic anomalies and to pinpoint Gas-Water, Gas-Oil and Oil-Water contacts. | | Velocity Model Building Build velocity models from prestack data in vertical update- and horizon-consistent update modules | ARK CLS Plugins | | | Seismic spectral blueing Seismic spectral blueing plugin is a technique that shapes the seismic spectrum to enhance resolution without boosting noise to an unacceptable level. | | | Seismic coloured Inversion Seismic Coloured Inversion enables the rapid band-limited inversion of seismic data. | | | Workstation access Direct import from and export to Landmark's SeisWorks and Schlumberger's GeoFrame-IESX workstations. | | | PDF3D Allows you to grab a 3D scene in OpendTect and to save it in pdf format. The pdf file can then be shared with colleagues, managers and partners who can open it in the free Adobe Reader, or embedded in a Powerpoint presentation. | Earthworks Plugins | | | Deterministic Inversion Deterministic Inversion includes a 3D model builder for constructing a priori impedance models using well log and seismic horizon data; a 2D error grid generation module for providing spatial inversion constraints and a model-based deterministic inversion module. | | | Stochastic Inversion Stochastic Inversion includes the MPSI ultraFast stochastic inversion module for generating multiple geostatistical realizations and the utilities for processing the multiple realizations to represent the inversion uncertainty for lithology, porosity, saturation or other attributes as probability cubes. This plug-in group also requires the purchase of the deterministic inversion plug-in group | | Geokinetics Plugins | | PSDM Kirchhoff Prestack Kirchhoff migration | | PSDM Tomography Tomographic inversion | Connections to other Open Source packages | | Madagascar Link Generic user interface to Madagascar, the open-source software package for geophysical data processing and reproducible numerical experiments. Madagascar website... | | GMT Connection with GMT you can create scaled maps of OpendTect results. GMT website... | | Free Plugin | | | GapDecon A multiple removal tool through prediction error filtering. Auto-loaded in OpendTect base. (Sponsored by Addax) | | | HorizonAttrib The Horizon attribute allows surface (horizon) data to be combined with cube data for calculations. Auto-loaded in OpendTect base. | | | Annotations Annotate seismic data with text-boxes, hyperlinks, (lap-out) arrows, and images. Auto-loaded in OpendTect base. (Developed as part of OpendTect SSIS; sponsored by Shell, BG-group, Statoil, TNO) | | | MatchDelta Trace cross-equalization functionality that is used to correct small misalignments in 3D seismic volumes prior to further analysis. It is typically used to align time-lapse seismic data, multi-azimuth stacks or angle stacks (Residual NMO correction). Auto-loaded in OpendTect base. |
